Title: Import Products from Excel Starter 2010

Can anyone walk me through the process of importing products from an excel Starter 2010 spreadsheet into POS 13.
      I Can get as far as the import screen, but cannot seem to get it to import my excel spreadsheet. ???  I am a novice so would appreciate simple instruction.

When saving from Excel use the Save As... and set the file format to Text with Tab delimited.  Also in Excel the field formats should be set to text.
