Title: Discount
Post by: Happyhundogkat on July 22, 2015, 04:12:14 AM
Hi I donĀ“t know if I have asked this before but is it possible to set the discount so that it just changes the price and not change the percentage. It is a bit difficult to explain.

example

1 treat = 39kr     buy 3 treat = 99kr that is about 15,383% discount wich is an odd number.

It would be easyer if I could just set the discount price to 33kr pr. treat I know that I can use the 2nd price but then I have to press that every time i take a new treat ( we have mixed treats 18 different kinds)

Hope I have made it understandable  :) :) :)

In version 14 you can discount by an amount or percentage.  For example:

Buy [ 3 ] and get [ 0.50 ] off each item.

Example:
1 treat 5.00
3 treats 4.50 x 3 = 13.50

How about if you want to sell a $120 item for $100?

At present, we just use the "edit" function and change the price, but I'm not sure I want people to be able to change quite that much information.

Is there any kind of discount function for dollar amounts on a single item?

There is a sale period (date and time), you can use the second price.  For these options open the Products / Discount window.
Also, customers can be assigned to a price level 1-6, At Cost, Free.

Yes, we use those Price Levels a lot.

Thanks for mentioning the Discount Item Control window - that seems to have changed a lot lately, too.  I'll have to think of a way to use that!
