ezPower / Re: History of stock added

We are currently running Version 14.118 but I can't find this report listed.  In the Report Ctr under Inventory, I show Value, Stock Status, Stock Status (Supplier), Adjust, Shortage, Price List, List by Location.  Where should I be looking?  Thanks.

OK, we're back to the first question.  We only have over-the-counter sales - every transaction is immediately paid by cash or credit card.  There are no other type of transactions - no charge accounts.  So why is there a difference between our monthly sales and the Month Trend figures?  We don't "Finish" or "Close" any sale that is not paid.

What constitutes a "closed transaction"?  What is the difference between a paid and a closed transaction?  All our transactions are paid by cash or credit card.  We have no charge accounts.  I don't know of any other transactions that should be inflating the Month Trend figures.  Can you help me understand this?

Thanks.

ezPower / Month Trend report
« on: August 10, 2015, 08:41:11 AM »
I assumed the Month Trend graph in Reports showed monthly sales.  However, when I compared it to our Monthly Sales, the totals are quite different.  For example, last month, net sales before taxes were 78052, after taxes were 87021; yet the Month Trend showed 82191.  We are cash and credit card sales only - no charge accounts.  How is the Month Trend figure calculated?  Thanks.

ezPower / Rounding problem with split payment
« on: May 28, 2015, 12:55:36 PM »
Customer's bill came to $110.83.  I chose "split Payment".  Customer paid $100.00 - cash.  I chose Debit Card - Exact payment and POS put it through as $10.85 instead of $10.83.  I also retried the transaction by choosing Debit Card - $10.83 but this left $.02 outstanding and wouldn't finalize the transaction.

Didn't help; still got the same message.  I opened Returns and pulled up the original receipt and it shows 1 in the returns column.  The return was never finalized so this may be causing the problem.  How can we restore the original receipt to the point where we can void it and account for the deposit we refunded?

Had a customer wanting to cancel a layaway.  Searched for the receipt number and tried to void the sale.  Window popped up "Is this sale open in another computer?  Only one computer can edit a sale at a time."  We have only one computer on.  Why can't I void the sale?

Thanks.

ezPower / Split Sale Issue
« on: February 04, 2015, 01:13:34 PM »
A Canadian issue here with rounding to .00 or .05 as we no longer use pennies.  POS usually handles the rounding up/down flawlessly.  However this happened today.  Customer purchase total of $26.14.  I used Split Tender and we put $25 on a Visa gift card leaving a balance of $1.14.  Customer gave $2 cash which should have rounded to $.85 Change.  Instead it shows $.86 change.

ezPower / Refunding Balances on Gift Card/Gift Certificates
« on: January 10, 2015, 11:00:38 AM »
We are a shoe store that uses the old-fashioned paper gift certificates.  When a customer uses a $100 certificate to purchase a $97 pair of shoes, we would like to cash out the $3.00 balance.  I tried "Cash Back" but the software pops up a window saying that I can't use Cash Back on Gift Cards.  Is there something in Setup that I need to correct?  How can I pay out the small balance and still have my end-of-day totals balance properly?
