Changing customers purchase total

We are on v13. We use the customers purchase total for our customer loyalty program and most sales count, but we offer classes and the class purchase doesn't count toward their total for the rewards.  We try to ring up classes as a separate transaction but sometimes we forget.  Is there any way to change the purchase total for a customer.  I know I can export the customer, delete it, change the number in the export and then import the information back in, but I lose the sales history then.  Is there another way?

Have you tried the customer loyalty program built into the software?  Read about Points in the Help document.  You can not change the customers sales total.

We did look at the built in customer loyalty, but it doesn't quite work for us.  We have many products that are less than 1 dollar and we don't want to give a full point for those items and we can't give partial points. We will continue to do things the way we are.  Thanks!
