Discount as a percentage %

is there a way of making the discount modifiers window option a % percentage rather than a figure

eg bowl sells at $199

i have web offer of 45% discount....

Not with Modifiers.  They do not give discounts.  But you can discount by % using Discount button.  This will discount the whole sale by a percentage.  Or, you can create a 'Coupon' product to discount a sale by a specified % or amount.
