Merging "product library" to a 2nd system
« on: July 18, 2013, 10:46:39 AM »
Hello,

I am considering buying a 2nd retail POS for my 2nd store since I love this one so much!  Our 2nd store has the same product so the thousands of SKUS I have had to enter would be used at that location as well.  Is it possible to transfer the entire product list with all SKUs and prices without transferring my 1st stores actual STOCK quantities?

Thank you

You can copy the products to the 2nd store and then set all the inventory to zero.  To zero the inventory open the Product Control window and press List All.  Put zero in the Change All field.  Right mouse click on anyone of the products listed under the Stock column.  A window will open.  Select Fill with Change All.

Ah, true. I knew I would be able to copy it all over but I forgot I can actually change inventory levels with the Change All field.  Thank you for the reminder!
