Can specific products be set to NOT allow discounts?

I have network version #13.758.

We give discounts fairly often, but limit their use to either me setting up price levels within Product Information, or the cashiers using the discount functions in the Sales Window (i.e., we don't use any of the other "fancy" discount features).

However, we have a policy of NOT discounting any CONSIGNED items (we purchase most items, but also take in some consignment items that I just don't want to own).  Our cashiers are fully aware of this policy, but, of course, exceptions do sneak through.

So, is there possibly any way to simply block the discounting of specific items, e.g., within Product Information?

Try the "P/W to Change Price, Lvl 2".  This is a separate security setting for changing prices (Lvl 2) on individual products.
