Another twist to this is that it seems that the "Order Qty" you set is fixed, no matter how far below the Order Point you are.
I.e., if your Order Point is 5, and your Order Qty. is 5, it'll show "5" to order whether your inventory is at "4" or "1".
For this reason, I stick to using the "Low Inventory Check", so I can see the current Stock levels as well as the Order Point and Order Quantity, and add to the order if I need to (current Stock levels don't seem to show up in the Purchase Order function). I "print" the "Low Inventory" report to pdf, then save to Excel and group the items any way I want - and add to Order Qty's if the Stock level is low enough.
Either way, it's great to not only have the ability to generate a report like this, but to have choices in how you do it.
