When startup each day, the program asks for the password for the "general settings" How do I turn this off so it does not make this request?

All the security settings are the menu Settings / Security. Set the password level for General Settings here.

I don't want it to ASK for a password and certainly don't want it to open up if I set it to "no password requierd". This is a relatively new problem.

I don't understand the question. The program will ask for a
Startup
password when it opens. You can change this in the Security window. It will check/ask for a
General Settings
password when opening that window.
